  • Collagen is just as important for your skin because of its regeneration capabilities on skin tissues and to build up new skin cells.
  • The body produces collagen on a regular basis. But, it does slow down with age and due to smoking, sun exposure, and an unhealthy diet. And without Collagen, this important building block, you may start to see wrinkles and sagging skin, or even experience joint pain.
  • Besides keeping your skin healthy and glowing, collagen may also help improve the appearance of stubborn cellulite. Cellulite is when the layer of fat under the skin pushes up against the connective tissue, creating a dimpled or lumpy appearance on the skin.

  • As a preservative, it’s mainly used in makeup products, but recent discovery of its superior antioxidant properties has helped it become an active ingredient in a variety of skincare products such as suncreens, lotions/crèmes, anti-aging treatments and serums.
  • Stable and nonacidic form of vitamin C that is effective as an antioxidant and particularly effective at reducing environmental damage.
